Callibaetis Emerger

Callibaetis are very important during mid-summer lake fishing. Hebgen Lake is well known for the Callibaetis gulpers where the fish feed in a straight line making a bit of a gulping noise when they sip a Callibaetis off the surface of the lake. This is such a chess match and one of the most fun events when you hit it just right. It helps to have the right patterns. Two of my favorite patterns are the Callibaetis Emerger and the Callibaetis Extended Body Parachute. Both patterns get the attention of the feeding trout. Fish On!
